The pair are ready to receive android 11 updates and highlight the adoption of a feature not always available for cheaper phones: artificial intelligence on camera.
The Nokia 2.4, the successor to the first model HMD Global brought to Brazil last May, has a dual rear camera with a 13 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The Nokia 3.4, in turn, has three cameras with a 13 MP main lens, a 5 MP wide angle, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Both models bet on a "Nordic" design, cooler, to differentiate themselves from competitors. Both come in similar colors: purple, blue, gray (for 2.4) and black (for 3.4). The rear camera set is in the middle of the top of the smartphone. While Nokia 2.4 adopts a traditional look, the 3.4 makes a difference by presenting a circle where three sensors and a flash are distributed symmetrically.
On the front, 2.4 adopts a drop-shaped notch with a 5 MP camera, while the 3.4 has a "hole" in the screen with an 8 MP front camera. The cheapest models have the largest screen, 6.5 inches, while the most expensive is 6.4 inches. The resolution of both is HD+.
Nokia 2.4 batteries are also superior to 3.4: 4,500 mAh versus 4,000 mAh. In the field of performance, the most advanced models have more modern processors, Snapdragon 460, and more RAM, 3 GB (in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options) and 4 GB (with 64 GB of storage). The simpler 2.4 adopts Mediatek's Helio P22 processor, with 2 GB of RAM (32 GB of storage) or 3 GB of RAM (64 GB of storage).
