After releasing the Pixel 4a mid-range phone in early August 2020, Google confirmed that it will release its Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G phones in the fall of this year or around early October 2020.
Reported from gizmochina page, Friday, August 21, 2020, a renowned technology analyst, Jon Prosser claims that these two latest phones by Google will debut on September 30, 2020.
According to the latest leak, the Pixel 5 will be announced in colors such as black and green by the end of September 2020. While the Pixel 4a 5G is available in black and white, and for the white variant will be available in October 2020. However, there is no further information on the full specifications of these two phones.
From the specifications circulating on the internet, the Pixel 5 will be a large device featuring a 6.67-inch screen and is expected to already support the 120Hz refresh rate feature. The smartphone is also expected to have a premium design.
The Google Pixel 5 is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset with 8GB of RAM. The device may also offer 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will be equipped with a fingerprint sensor reader placed on the back of the phone. The Pixel 5 is expected to be marketed for US$699 or about Rp 10 million.
Meanwhile, for Pixel 4a 5G devices it is not yet known whether snapdragon 765G will be powered or instead use another chipset. It is known that this phone will come with a cheaper build and will likely be priced at 499 US dollars
