After months of rumors and speculation, Google Pixel 4a finally officially. There is no version of XL, this affordable Pixel smartphone comes in a screen size of 5.81 inches.
The Handset is powered by a Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM. There is no version with additional storage or a microSD card.
The 5.81-inch OLED Panel has a resolution of 1080x2340px with a high aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There is also a punch hole for the front-facing 8MP camera in the upper left corner of the screen.
With this tiny size, Pixel 4a will easily appeal to users looking for affordable and compact devices at the same time.
The rear has a single 12.2 MP 1/2.55 "sensor with a large 1.4 μm pixel and fast f/1.7 optics that supports all Pixel 4 features such as Night Sight, Portrait Mode, Top Shot. There is also OIS to keep shocks while recording videos.
On the front, there is one 8MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 1.12 μm pixel, but no autofocus.
Google Pixel 4a has a rather small 3.140 mAh battery that can be charged with Power Delivery 2.0 standard up to 18W. Important note, the 3.5 mm audio jack remains plugged in.
Only available in one color, Just Black, the phone is available for pre-order in the US at a price of $349, while actual sales will start on August 20th.
The Handset will cost £349 in the UK and €340 in Germany. 4a will also be present in Australia, Canada, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, and Taiwan.
