Apple has announced an update to its 27-inch iMac device to version 2020 which may be the last Intel-based iMac. Due to the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) event 2020 last month, Apple announced it would replace its own Intel processor with its own Apple Silicon.
These all-in-one computer updates include improved storage capacity for basic versions, CPU options with the 10th generation Intel Core and more powerful GPUS. Greater RAM capacity support and improvements on the Retina 5K display.
From the design, the 27-inch iMac doesn't look different than the previous version. However, the current iMac is now available with a glass screen in a finishing called a nano-texture matte, previously only available with a glossy glass finishing screen.
Matte Nano-Texture technology is first exhibited on XDR Pro Display monitor devices. Where it reduces glare on the screen and presents better images in bright environments. In addition to the matte glass, the 27-inch iMac display also packs Apple True Tone technology to adapt color balance based on ambient lighting.
