Nokia 8.3 5G

Some smartphone vendors lately are increasingly introducing their 5G smartphones. As if not to be missed, HMD Global finally introduced the first Nokia 5G smartphone, the Nokia 8.3.

Interestingly, HMD Global decided not to use Qualcomm's highest processor, but using their mid-range processors, the Snapdragon 765G Modular Platform.

For the business of 5G networking, HMD Global is not responsible for providing worldwide support. HMD Global Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas claims that they will provide the widest possible support of the 5G network to its users.

A globally capable Nokia 5G smartphone designed with future cost, usability and readiness in mind. The Nokia 8.3 5G comes with the highest 5G New Radio band ranging from 600hmz to 3.8 GHz, which means the device can be used globally and ready for the future.

Users will get a choice of 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR 4x RAM, with 64GB and 128GB of storage. As for the screen, they use a screen measuring 6.81 inches FHD + PureDisplay.

The battery is also quite large, which is around 4500 mAh. Unfortunately, the Nokia 8.3 is not accompanied by fast charging.

In the camera section, they embed four cameras with the imaging system with ZEISS Optics for the rear camera. The main camera is 64MP with one 12MP ultra-wide lens camera, one 2MP depth sensor, and one 2MP macro lens. As for the front camera, they use a 24MP camera.

In addition to 5G and using ZEISS lenses, no other featured features can be sold by HMD Global. They don't even use the fingerprint scanner technology at the bottom of the screen, and still use a fingerprint scanner that integrates with the power button.

For availability, the Nokia 8.3 5G began to be available globally in the summer of 2020, and will certainly be coming soon in Indonesia in the near term.
