Although it carries a similar name to the Find X that was launched two years ago, this version comes with a concept that is quite different from its predecessor. One of the most obvious is that it is no longer used as a pop-up mechanism for its camera module.
In this launch, the Chinese company revealed two products, namely Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. Both smartphones come with an Ultra Vision Screen display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Michael Tran, Head of Strategy & Product Marketing Oppo Western Europe, in his presentation, said that this screen offers smoothness, clarity, accuracy and comfort in the eyes of its users.
With the 6.7-inch OLED panel, Oppo offers a resolution of 3168x1440 with a curved edge. HDR10 + support will also be present on both devices. The screen also comes with a punch-hole camera and a fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the screen.
This sector of the screen is also reinforced with chip image processing, which is O1 Ultra Vision Engine. This Chip will be able to increase the frame rate to 60 or even 120fps.
Switching to the camera sector, there is a difference in the configuration provided by Oppo on the Find X and Find X2 Pro devices. The Pro version comes with a 48MP main camera with an IMX689 sensor. The sensor comes in 1/1.4 inches size which is large enough for a smartphone. The main camera has also supported the All pixel Omni Directional PDAF feature which offers a level of success capturing the focus of up to 97%.
Another camera is a telephoto module with a 13MP sensor. Oppo calls that this module offers 10x hybrid zoom and 60x digital zoom. In this version, Oppo again uses a periscope lens.
The third camera uses an IMX586 48MP sensor for ultrawide angle requirements. Oppo also reveals that this module can be used for macro mode with a distance of 3cm from the object. While on the front there is a 32MP camera for selfie needs.
Meanwhile, while equally present with three rear cameras, Oppo provides different resolutions for the Find X2. The series comes with a 48MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto and a 12MP ultrawide angle.
For a race kitchen affair, Oppo relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. This makes Find X2 and Find X2 Pro already integrated with Qualcomm's made 5G modem. Inevitably, the series became the first Oppo series to carry Qualcomm's latest chipset.
While the same comes with 12GB of RAM, the storage space available on both smartphones is different. Oppo Find X2 comes with 256GB of internal memory, while Oppo Find X2 Pro carries a 512GB internal memory.
Speaking of speakers, both smartphones are supported with Dolby Atmos audio system.
In the battery sector, OPPO relies on its fast-loading technology. Both smartphones are already supported with SuperVOOC 2.0 65W technology. On the sidelines of his presentation, Michael Tran briefly charge the Find X2 Pro device from a blank. 38 minutes later, the charging process is complete with a fully charged battery. To be known, Find X2 carries a 4200mAh battery, while Find X2 Pro comes with a 4260mAh battery.
