Without holding events as usual, Apple launched the latest generation iPad Pro. The physical cursory looks identical to the third generation of the iPad Pro released in 2018, but Apple has already implemented quite a lot of improvements that are invisible to the naked eye.

We start from its performance. The fourth-generation iPad Pro is powered by the A12Z Bionic chipset consisting of 8-core processors and 8-core GPUS. Compared to the previous generation (A12X), A12Z excels in regard to graphics performance thanks to a greater number of GPU cores and better thermal architectures.

As before, the 2020 edition of iPad Pro comes in two different screen sizes: 11 inches and 12.9 inches. Both are equipped with a high resolution IPS screen with a pixel density of 264 PPI and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display still does not come with a fingerprint sensor, and its biometrium mechanism relies on the face unlock system.

Other invisible changes – but will sound – are five embedded microphones. Apple believes such configurations are capable of capturing clear, detailed audio, and the fourth generation of iPad Pro can be enabled as a ' walking studio ' for podcasters, videographers and other content creators.

But the biggest change presented may be in the camera sector. As we can see, the fourth-generation iPad Pro packs two rear cameras: a 12-megapixel, ultra-wide 10-megapixel standard. Why not three? Because room for the third camera has been inhabited by LiDAR sensors.

Yes, LiDAR as it is widely used in automatic steering car. Its usefulness here is to dramatically boost the augmented reality (AR) performance of iPad Pro. LiDAR's presence is believed to realize faster and more accurate calculations in AR applications on iPad Pro.

Accessory affairs, the fourth-generation iPad Pro comes along with a cover keyboard with a trackpad, just like it's not long ago. That means the new version of iPadOS already supports the trackpad by default, and its unique mouse pointer in iPadOS is not in the form of darts as we know it, but rather a small circle that will only appear when needed.

Unfortunately the accessory named Magic Keyboard is amazingly expensive: $299 for the 11-inch model, or $349 for the 12.9-inch model, for a 10.2 inch iPad. The good news, iPad 10.2 inches will also be the arrival of the new version of iPadOS with the same trackpad support, and to utilize it we can use Logitech's similar cover keyboard that's appreciated just half a thing.

Apple is currently marketing fourth-generation iPad Pro with a starting price of $799 for the 11-inch model, or $999 for the 12.9-inch model. In addition to the Wi-Fi only variant, iPad Pro is also available in variants that support LTE networks. Its own storage capacity options include 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1TB.
