Samsung has just introduced its latest flagship smartphone lineup, namely Galaxy S20, S20 +, S20 Ultra. These three devices can also be ordered by fans around the world. All three will use the Snapdragon 865 processor or use the Exynos 990. The choice of RAM and storage of these three devices is enormous, ie ranging from 16GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which already uses UFS 3.0 technology. These three devices will also certainly use the 5G network.
The screen uses Dynamic AMOLED with sizes ranging from 6.2 inches to 6.9 inches. Most importantly, these three variants will also have display support with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is the first time Samsung pinned the screen with a high refresh rate on their device. Previously, this refresh rate was used in several gaming smartphones such as Razer Phone, Black Shark, and ASUS ROG Phone 2.
The fundamental differences from the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 + are from the side of the screen. However, the most substantial difference between the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 + with the Galaxy S20 Ultra is the camera part.
The Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 + will equally use the main camera with a three-camera configuration, the first being a 12 MP camera with an aperture of f/1.8 with a 26mm (wide) Dual Pixel PDAF lens width, and OIS.
The second camera will use a 64 MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 (telephoto), which is equipped with PDAF, OIS, 3x Hybrid optical zoom. While the third camera will have a 12 MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 with a lens width of 13mm (ultrawide), with AF technology and Super Steady video.
As for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer will use a four-camera configuration, with a 108 MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.8 with a 26mm (wide) lens width, accompanied by Dual Pixel PDAF and OIS technology.
In addition, they also embed a Periscope 48 MP camera with an aperture of f/3.6 with a 102mm (telephoto) lens width, with PDAF technology, OIS, and 10x hybrid optical zoom. The third camera comes with a 12MP sensor with a 13mm wide-aperture (ultrawide), with AF technology and Super Steady video. While the last camera is 0.3 MP camera with TOF 3D technology for depth feature.
At this event, Samsung emphasized that they wanted to bring a new definition of camera photography to an unprecedented level. Besides being able to take photos perfectly, the Galaxy S20 series will also get up to 8K recording modes.
For the front camera, both the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 + will use a 10 MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2 with a lens width of 26mm (wide), equipped with Dual Pixel PDAF technology. While the Galaxy S20 Ultra will use a 40 MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2 with a 26mm (wide) lens width, which features the PDAF feature.
The battery of these three devices is also diverse, ranging from 4000mAH to Galaxy S20, 4500mAH to Galaxy S20 +, and 5000mAH for the Galaxy S20 Ultra. As for charging, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 + will use a 25W charger, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra will have a 45W fast charge.
