Ricoh WG-70 still maintains a series of superiority of WG-60 earlier. The features are still the same. The body design is very identical with the waterproof feature to a depth of 14 meters, resistant to 1.6 meters high, up to-10 °c, and able to withstand pressure loads up to 100 Kg.
The sensors and lenses used by WG-6 are still inherited to the WG-7. The camera comes with a 16 megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor with a 1/2.3-inch, wide-angle 28mm lens with an optical zoom of 5x lens equivalent to 28mm-140mm.

Physically and the specs of WG-7 and WG-6 do exactly the same. But, for its features WG-7 is more special with additional 3 modes of new shooting. These three modes include Digital Microscope to enlarge the resulting photo, Advanced Underwater Shooting to perform color correction of underwater photos and videos, and Cross Processing for color effects such as using a film camera.
For other features, the Ricoh WG-70 users can still find a 2.7-inch screen, six LED lights around the lens, can record Full HD video and Wi-Fi connectivity support available.
Ricoh WG-70 is available with a choice of black and orange color. The camera is planned to be available on the market in March 2020 with a selling price of US $280.
