Kandao QooCam 8K manuals - Insta360 One X and GoPro Max have proven that the size is not a barrier for the 360-degree camera to maximize its potency. The two cameras are equally easy to store in the bag, but the resulting video output remains satisfactory at a resolution of 5, 6K 30 fps.

If the chase is a higher resolution, the options available are unfortunately no longer in the pocketable category, but rather a basketball or a thermos. Is that true? Not if according to China manufacturer named Kandao.

The objection they proved through QooCam 8K, a compact 360-degree camera capable of recording in 8K resolution (7680 x 3840 pixels). Pocketable but very high resolution, QooCam is clearly a species of 360-degree camera that is still rare so far. If necessary, it is also ready to record video in 4K 120 fps resolution.

The video Output of that size comes from a large sensor, 1/1.7 inches, with the ability to shoot at 30 megapixels. He even inherited the smartphone's image stacking feature, and that is stacked here is an image in RAW format, so the final result of his photograph is believed to have better detail and dynamic range.

Following an effective internal stabilization trend popularized by Insta360 and GoPro, QooCam 8K also packs a 6-axis gyroscope to stabilize the video being recorded without having to rely on dreadlocks. This stabilization system also makes it ideal for vlogging, and it has a special mode for vlogging like the GoPro Max.

In that mode, the lens and sensors only work on one side. On the contrary, the 2.4-inch touchscreen is tasked with showing a preview that is being recorded in real-time. Of course, this screen is also useful for reviewing your recordings or snapshots without having to connect them first to your smartphone.

Editing matters, the companion app is no less intelligent. A feature called 8K Express Edit allows users to edit 8K videos directly on a smartphone. Isn't it a very heavy task for phone-class hardware? Yes, but this can be tricked by the method of proxy editing.

So being seen and edited is actually not the original video, but rather the downgraded copy to 4K resolution so as not to burden the phone. After that, the application will automatically apply all adjustments to the original video, so the final result remains at 8K resolution.

For those who prefer to broadcast their recordings directly, QooCam 8K supports live streaming to various platforms, but the maximum resolution is just 4K. Kandao plans to take off Qoocam 8k to the market starting in December with an official $599.
