Canon EOS-1D X Mark III User Manual - Canon has just announced the development of its latest flagship professional DSLR, the EOS-1DX Mark III, which will serve as the camera with the most advanced technology he has ever made. The AF system is claimed to be more accurate than ever, thanks to a new sensor. In Live View mode, users will have 525 AF points powered by Canon's proprietary Dual Pixel technology. The focus system will also be more stable and track the subject better thanks to the new algorithms and AI technology.
Canon equips the 1D X Mark III with a CFexpress card slot with speeds up to 1,600 MB/s and a five times size 1D X Mark II buffer. Reported from Engadget (24/10), the 1D X Mark III is likely capable of capturing photos of 16 fps or 20 fps for more than 30 seconds before storing the memory card. Such shoots will drain battery power, but Canon says the 1D X Mark III will have a large battery capacity.
In addition to JPG and RAW files, users will get a new type of format called the 10-bit HEIF (High-efficiency image file), with a more extensive dynamic range than the JPG format. This is a much more economical option than RAW format, but it's more easily editable than JPG. From the connectivity side, this DSLR is equipped with Wifi, Bluetooth LE, GPS, Ethernet, and an optional wireless transmitter.
Canon also informs the 1D X Mark III to be the EOS camera with the most advanced video capabilities ever made. The camera is capable of recording 4K-resolution video at a 60 fps refresh rate with a color depth of 10 bits 4:2:2.
The DSLR is also equipped with a robust magnesium-material body that can be used on any type of cufig.
