Leica D-Lux 7 Manual (PDF) User Guide
Leica D-Lux 7 Manual - Leica D-Lux is an advanced compact Camera series that is unique in that it has a large image sensor and a zoom lens that has a large opening so that the quality is no different or can be better than a camera that can replace the lens (DSLR/mirrorless).
Continuing the success of the previous D-Lux series (Typ 109), the D-Lux 7 has a new image sensor measuring four-thirds of 17 MP, a new processor, 1.24 million LCD display point touchscreen. Some things similar to the previous D-Lux are the 24-75mm f/1.7-2.8 equivalent lenses, the 2.76 million-point viewfinder, and the design of the body.
Compared to other compact cameras such as the Leica C-Lux, the D-Lux is shorter, but the D Lux-7 has advantages in dark light due to the lens aperture and sensor size. The design is also more photographer centric: a lot of buttons and dials, not too small, but tasty to hold and operate, especially the screen is already touchscreen, not for autofocus only, but also to choose the menu. Suitable for serious pro/hobbyist photographers who want a compact, high-quality camera, or a traveler who does not want to carry a separate camera and lens.
Somewhat unique in the history of D-Lux, this time Leica chose a dual-tone color, which is silver and black, similar to the design of the old film camera. It is unknown whether Leica will make D-Lux with other colors or not. Does the D-Lux 7 change compare to its predecessor quite significant? I think it's pretty, though not revolutionary. The things I complained of, such as no touchscreen in the previous editions already answered, the image quality is also increased, especially in the resolution/detail and color.
