Canon g7x Mark ii Manual - Compared to the first Canon G7X series, the G7X Mark II has several significant improvements, namely a faster processor (DIGIC 7), a more ergonomic and practical design.
With a new processor, the G7X can take pictures as fast as 8 fps in both JPG and RAW formats. The new processor also improves image quality, especially in color and noise reduction when using high ISO. Autofocus tracking also enhanced performance.
In the design section, there are also positive changes. At the front of the camera is now wrapped with a rubber handle, the back also has a place to park the thumb, and the LCD screen can now be bent 45 degrees upwards for high-angle photos (high angle).
The Canon G7X II also has a new time-lapse video feature, which makes it easy to create time-lapse videos. Panning photo enthusiasts will also be helped by the automatic adjustment mode and vertical stabilizer.
Also new in the G7X II is the in-camera RAW processing, which makes it possible to make various JPG photos with different settings and then can be sent directly via WiFi to the cellphone.
The same as the first Canon G7 series is the same lens and sensor, which is 20.1 MP with a 1-inch sensor type and 24-100mm f / 1.8-2.8 equivalent lens.
At the same time, Canon also announced the availability of a new waterproof case specifically for the G7X MK II which can be carried diving as deep as 40 meters.
